What we collect
- Messages you send us. The contact tool builds text in your browser only. It does not transmit anything. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to reply.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider may record standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
- Local storage. Your browser may store your cookie choice and which checklist items you ticked. These stay on your device.
Why we use it
To answer your messages, keep the site secure and working, and remember your preferences. Our legal bases are your consent, our legitimate interest in running a safe website, and, where relevant, taking steps at your request.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site, under suitable agreements, or where the law requires. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your request, normally up to 24 months. Server logs are kept for a short, limited period.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email us to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
